Our Story
K3 was formed in 2009 by Kegdrick Smith Sr. after the birth of his second son, Kyler. He named the company K1 for himself, K2 for his oldest son and namesake, and K3 for his new son. Kegdrick wanted to create a legacy similar to the one he experienced while working with his grandfather during the summers in Louisiana, which sparked his love for construction. After working independently for several years on various projects throughout metro Atlanta, this California native and Georgia transplant decided to build his legacy by establishing K3 Hauling and Grading.
